Canadian Judicial Council announces dates of public hearings regarding the Honourable Robin Camp

Ottawa, 4 July 2016 – The Inquiry Committee constituted to review the conduct of Justice Robin Camp will hold public hearings on 6, 7, 8, 9, 12, 13 and 14 September 2016. The proceedings on 6 September 2016 will commence at 2:00 p.m. The proceedings for all other days will commence at 9:00 a.m., unless otherwise directed by the Inquiry Committee. 

The hearings will be held in Calgary, Alberta in the Bow Valley Room of the Westin Calgary Hotel, 320 4th Avenue, SW. While proceedings of the Inquiry Committee are open to the public, space is limited.

The Inquiry Committee is comprised of three members of the Canadian Judicial Council and two senior lawyers appointed by the Minister of Justice. Members are: the Honourable Austin F. Cullen (Chairperson); the Honourable Deborah K. Smith; the Honourable Raymond P. Whalen; Ms. Karen Jensen; Ms. Cynthia Petersen.

Documents relating to this matter are posted on the Council website. Additional documents will be posted as directed by the Inquiry Committee.
